Create your first assessment

Up to date

In short

Assessments are created in a four-step builder. An assessment can be all coding, all multiple-choice, or any mix. The type is derived from what you add.

The four steps

  1. 01Basics: title, description, and the time limit in minutes.
  2. 02Content: coding problems and multiple-choice questions. Every problem needs at least one test case; add hidden cases too, since they're what stops hard-coded answers. The AI problem creator can draft a complete problem (statement, test cases, hints, model solution) for your review.
  3. 03Settings: schedule and access, code/explanation weights (they must sum to 100; the default is 70/30), reattempts, and the integrity modules.
  4. 04Review: a validation summary, then publish. The assessment appears on students' dashboards when its window opens.
