Fullscreen and the three-strike rule
In short
When fullscreen is enforced, it is the single piece of monitoring that acts on its own. Everything else produces evidence for faculty to review, not verdicts.
The three strikes
- 01First exit from fullscreen: a warning.
- 02Second exit: a final warning.
- 03Third exit: the attempt ends.
Everything else
- Tab switches, paste events, and other monitored behaviour are recorded as events with context for faculty review. None of them end an attempt or zero a score automatically.
- A pill in the session header reminds you exactly which monitoring is active, the same list you agreed to at the consent step.
