Assessly builds Blumvo, where students learn by doing and colleges teach, test and place them. We also research what helps students learn, and publish what we find.
About the team
Marketing tells colleges, students and employers what we do. A college hears of us from a colleague, a site or a talk long before a demo.
About the role
We need someone who makes each of those clear, specific and true.
What you will do
- Write and design our sites, and every word on them.
- Tell stories from colleges and students, with their permission.
- Make the talks, decks and case studies a principal asks for.
- Talk to a placement officer or a student to find a story.
- Read what visitors do on the site, and change what does not work.
Your first months
- Learn our voice and the people we write for.
- Rewrite one page, and measure what changes.
- Publish the first story from a college we work with.
You may be a good fit if you
- Have made work you can show us
- Write plainly, with facts in place of adjectives
- Can lay out a page or a slide well
- Measure what you do, and say when it did not work
Strong candidates may also have
- Experience writing for colleges or students
- Filming and editing short video
- Knowing how search works

Logistics
Where you work: Remote, from anywhere in India.
Education: No degree needed. Your work and your answers count for more than where you studied.
Type: Full-time. When no role is open for your kind of work, we sometimes work with people on a contract.
